BANKA — The Banka District Administration today inaugurated a pioneering 2.5 MW solar microgrid installation at the Station Road district collectorate, aiming to supply uninterrupted renewable energy across civic offices and local public utilities.
District Magistrate officials confirmed that the solar microgrid will reduce local grid dependency by 40% while powering public street lighting along key thoroughfares in Banka town.
